WorldData is a leading source of economic and industry forecasts from the Economist Intelligence Unit, and the latest economic data direct from national statistical offices and other primary sources from EcoWin. The service combines macroeconomic and industry forecasts from the Economist Intelligence Units CountryData and Market Indicators & Forecasts databases with EcoWin's near-time economic database. With macroeconomic forecasts for 150 countries, additional demographic and industry forecasts for the 60 larger economies and latest data releases for 100+ countries the service is truly global.

The depth of coverage is extensive with up to 750 forecast series per country. Coverage from EcoWin varies from country to country with the largest developed countries having the most series. For example, WorldData includes 11,000+ historic time series for Germany and nearly 1,000 historic time series for Brazil. Some series stretch back to the 1950s or occasionally further, whereas most series start in the 1980s or 1990s. Five-year forecasts are available for the 60 largest economies and two-year forecasts for the remaining countries.
