Research, Statistics, Supervision and Regulation, and Discount and Credit Database (RSSD) ID

The RSSD ID is a unique identifier assigned to financial institutions by the Federal Reserve System (also known as the Federal Reserve, and informally as the Fed), the central banking system of the United States. While the length of the RSSD ID varies by institution, it cannot exceed 10 numerical digits.

The National Information Center (NIC) provides comprehensive information on banks and other institutions for which the Federal Reserve has a supervisory, regulatory, or research interest including both domestic and foreign banking organizations operating in the US.

The Alacra Authority File contains cross-referencing to the RSSD identifier and they can also be provided via our Concordance service.
