The Alacra team is off to Philadelphia for our 12th Special Libraries Association annual conference. We will be exhibiting in booth #815 and we’ll be serving popcorn as we run some Philadelphia-themed movies. We’ll be showing our new iPad app and talking to customers about the relentless changes in the information industry. And I’ll be introducing several recently hired Alacra executives.
On Tuesday, June 14 I will be on a panel discussing Challenges of Buying and Selling Content in 2011. Barbara Hirsh of NERA and Stephanie Schubert of PwC will be moderating and my co-panelists will be Cathy Porta from PwC, Joan Morris from Lazard, Michelle Manafy from Freepint and Rohit Chowdhury from InfoGroup. The session will be held in Marriott Salon L from 10:00am to 11:30am.
Last year’s conference was challenging, in that the economy was so sour and New Orleans was difficult and expensive to get to. I’m confident Philadelphia will be terrific – I hope to see you there.
