International Organization of Securities Commission

IOSC aims to bring together securities organizations for the purpose of promoting international standards of regulation and enforcement; managing global systemic risks in order to protect markets and investors; strengthening the global exchange of information to build safer markets with appropriate levels of risk management.

There are 211 members each of whom fits into one of three categories: ordinary, associate and affiliate. Member types include primary regulators of securities, self-regulatory organizations, stock exchanges.
