G20

The main economic council of global economic powers. G20 aims to promote international financial stability. It has no official powers but maintains strong relationships with global economic authorities and meets at a summit yearly to discusses global economic concerns. Since inception in 1999 it has influenced global progress in AML regulation, tax transparency, and information exchange.

The G20 consists of Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union.
