The Zengin Code is a unique number used in Japan to identify banks and branches for domestic bankwiring, mass transfer, Paypal transfer and Google Adsense payments. The Zengin code for a bank company comprises 4 digits, with 3 more digits added to identify the branch.

Additional Information
The Zengin system is one of three clearinghouses operated by the Japanese Bankers Association which serves as an interbank o-line messaging system for handling domestic fund transfers. A Bank Identifier Code (BIC or SWIFT code) is used for international deposits.
