Description
EFTPS is a system for paying federal taxes electronically using the Internet, or by phone using the EFTPS Voice Response System. EFTPS is offered free by the U.S. Department of Treasury.

The system launched in 1996 and has processed more than 1 billion payments through the Web site and phone system as well as through special channels for payroll providers, tax professionals, financial institutions, and other authorized third parties.
